Maybe the 626 is different, but dry-steer is basically impossible.

Oh dont get me wrong...it is tough if im standing still..but i can stil do it. (id rather use two hands) but as soon ast i get above 5 mph its pretty easy to steer. Ive been with out powersteering for so long..when i get into cars with it..i cant drive right lol..i over steer alot.

i've been going without powersteering in my mx3 for a few months now. didn't change the belt or anything..... still works good. didn't mean to steal thread if i did. but is this going to be a potential hazard or maybe break something?

curious ..for the ones running without power steering, what rims and tire combination are you running?

I'm running a 215/45-17 on my MX-3...and its slammed to the floor.

I love it...handles great.

I'm gonna do this. I drove a 35' bus/ motorhome w/ no P/S. I'm not concerned.
