about the resell thing, they really can stop you because, they dont have a copy right or patent for them, also if they want to that much of a b---- then they need to get permission from mazda to use the logot or mazda speed or mx-3

its a pain in the a-- to get permission to use any of them, i was working for a month to get permission, originally they said no because the mx3 wasnt a new vehicle and wasnt something they wanted to release because it wasnt part of there new line of cars. Then i came back to them and begged someone at mazda motorsports, and they gave me permission to do a 1 run off.

So yea if people want to get permission to use the logos so they can sell them then i dont have a problem with them, but the cost per set will increase as i know you will be making a proffit off them so so will i :).

Now back down to buisness OK we have 2 options here:

we can do just front 2 and it will only run us 33 a set (thats including the donation to mx-3.com) + shipping

or

4 mats (fronts and back) his will cost 38 (again that includes the 3 dollar donation to mx-3.com) + shipping

You can not have 1 or the other, due to how these are printed, when 4 are ordered 4 mats are done when 2 are ordered 2 mats are done. We dont print a ton of black mats then just pair them up when we get orders for 4 mats. Sorry we should but um upper management thinks it will be a waiste even though we will make more profit in the long run.

Now i know some one is gonna scream and yell about the price, but thats the lowest i can get them at only needing 20 orders to get them printed if we do a bigger order like 50+ 5 dollars gets nocked off the price. Also before anyone starts complaining saying thats to much blah blah blah in the 1st post i said around 30 which i was right its in the 30's.

now if you want a set of custom mats done 1 by 1 it will cost you around 69-79 dollars, which most companies that do this type of work only have a 15-30 dollar markup on mats. My company charges 49 for a set of 2 ( 19 dollar markup) and 59 for a set of 4 (29 dollar markup). So these are good prices.

Now i still know someones gonna email me or say something on here about I can go to autozone and get a set of black ones for 30 why are they so cheap, but ours cost more? Thats a really easy question to answer, the ones at Autozone are alot cheaper for 1 reason. MASS PRODUCTION they print those things by the 10,000s. The more you buy the cheaper they get, hell if we would to get about 1000 orders then the price would prolly only be 25 for a set of 4. But that will never happen.

I think the pricing is very reasonable.

I like the #4. I'll take the front two only please. :)

One question though..

Will the floor mats have the same "shape" and outline as the oem mats?

For that insignificant increase in cost for 4, I can see that the only or best option is for the 4 mat set. There are those that do not have the oem mats where the fronts need replacing and the rears do not. Some may be starting from scratch so it would be best to have 4 matching mats, IMO. Even better if there was a small but obvious MazdaSpeed Logo on the bottom of each rear mat so as to be readily visible.

at the risk of throwing a wrench in the whole works, after everyone's been chiming in for #4, is it possible to get #4, but with the mazdaspeed outline logo, instead of the solid white?

and i would also like to echo jay's inquiry as to whether or not these are shaped exactly like OEM -- which is definitely a distinct advantage over autozone's or ebay's universal fit crap.

thanks,

To make things easier for Mnemonic, we could set up a list! I think that floormat number 4 won the voting.

1 set - verzutiko

ive been making a list, and checking it twice, gonna find out who's naughty or nice??? wait wait wait....

No ive been making a list of how many want which ones, but when it comes to people actually purchasing them thats a whole other story :) I've already talked to Jeff and i should be able to start the group buy around Wednesday Of next week. From there ill tell payment options, and all the info i need to know etc... This friday ill be making the selection of which one will be used, as of right now its #4 but there is a color conflict here, half are wanting the letters in a silverish gray (so that the white doesnt get dirty as fast) and the others are wanting it white (so they can dye them to match the car).

Its a tuff call on which one to go with, since its somewhat split down the middle, and i have to make sure i sell the minimum required to process the order.

I think thats all for now

I say go with silver, and leave it at that. I wanted white, but silver will work for me.
