I just re-read it and I think I figured it out..you cut the civic clear plastic cover to the dimensions of the mx-3 clear plastic cover...and then put the civic cover back onto the civic projector housing? Is that right? Did you have to modify the housing to stuff it in there?

yes, but I cut the lense a bit larger than the actual mx-3 cover and also had to cut the housing several times for proper fitment ...if I undercut them I would of been screwed, so I took my time and cut & fitted several times .... the actual light is surprisingly 3 parts ( Lense, projector housing and backing plate W/ brackets

Did you have to modify the backing plate? I think I can figure this out...I'm going to purchase a set and get to work with my little dremel tool. Is that what you used, or did you actually use some sort of saw to cut it? Close up pics would be awesome...

Just saw the updated pics with both in....WOW!!! When are you going to start taking orders?

I think I am going to fiberglass the back side of the projectors for a better enclosure and make some custom bulb and turn signal ports,not really sure what to do with the 3rd as of yet... any serious ideas ? I am gonna take my time and do it right and if all goes well I wouldn't mind making some for others.. I am just glad I have gotten this far with the fitting

yes, that's the same type, I am currently trying to make fitment for turn signal bulbs better and will post pics....it seems the original bulbs were H1,H3 or some other small type.... Thanks guys for all the compliments!
