It is possible that we may join you Kevin, if that's the time frame. If the route leads us in the same general direction, then sure... we might as well join you.

The cruise will go towards downtown and after that we'll most likely go through East Van to get onto the Hwy. I'll show you guys the route when you get to my place friday and you can decide from there if you have the time to do it or not.

Sounds good. I can't wait to get there. I love it in BC. Only a day and a few hours until we hit the road. Hopefully there won't be any mechanical problems on the way with any of our cars. Justin's car was acting up yesterday but it seems like just a minor problem. As long as we don't end up needing a tow rope/bar. I don't think my car will enjoy pulling it up those hills.

Everyone please drive safely and according to the posted speed. We don't want to hear or see you getting any ticket(s) from the local police.

James and the Calgary crew, I'll see you guys friday late afternoon/evening when you get to my place. The bucket, car wash and hose will be out waiting for you. :2thumbsup:

Sounds good!
Don't forget the bug scraper ;)

Now as long as my morning meetings don't run late I should be at our departure meeting place on time.

:D Sounds great Kevin. I'll have my whole equipment stash of cleaning stuff as usual. Got to wax my hood so it matches my freshly painted bumper.

Great Darcy! Talked to Justin and he should be on time too. The keyword of course is "should". Too bad Dallas couldn't go and bring her GSR. I feel really bad for her. She was really looking forward to it. Oh well, these things happen. :dunno:

Hey Guys,

Sorry to inform that my car will not make it to the meet. Four weeks ago I decided to repaint it and they are still at it. Least to say that I am very very very disappointed and upset. The guys at the paintshop just took their sweet time and promised me to have it back by Wednesday, but nada. They just dragged and dragged and today informed me that there is no way they are going to be done. Meanwhile they have finished at least 10-12 cars in the process. Arghh.

It was going to have a nice new Porsche Seal Gray Paint and my new HID retrofitted headlights. I am still going to be there, but without my ride.

My car can't make the meet.. but my Budget rental truck, and my new Engine will be there..
(or perhaps at the Pannekoek house depending on what time we get done loading the engine.

The guy with the Engine is like 2 miles from the meet... and the Pannekoek place is sorta on the way home.

Any idea what time you folks will be changing venues? So I know which to head to after we get the engine loaded into the truck?

We'll be at De Dutch Pannekeok for breadfast from 9 am to about 11:30 am and then we're heading down to the meet location after that.

Hoping I can make it there in time to have some eats... Love dutch style pancakes.. (but then with a last name that starts with "van der.." thats to be expected...

but still, every time I hear the name, I wonder if that's where the local grim reaper contingent hangs out.. cause it reminds me of "der waffle haus" from Dead Like Me..
