ok Urbanstylze (dave) swears its the connection to the Heads from the IM so im gonna go get me some gasket sealent and try it again, the gaskets are still pritty new but he is right it might not be sealing right due to the swapping of IMs and the gaskets were originally for the 2.5 then i put the 1.8 IM on it and it could of warped it a little

Thank god for this post. The diagram above reminded me to check my fuel lines. I can't believe I was so stupid to not be able to figure out the fuel filter out goes to the FPR.

Of course I broke the TPS pulling the lines. Luckily I've still got the TPS from the K8......somewhere.

Anyways, it'll start now, but it idles up and down, and the throttle does nothing. I'll try the spray copper sealant tomorrow and see how that does. I'll post results.

To check if your intake has a vacuum leak, use a length of vacuum line and put one end to your ear and the other at the spot you think its leaking. And listen for a hissing. Or you could spray wd-40 or silicone spray at the spot, and if the car revs up or down depending on what you spray, you will have found a vacuum leak.

Would starting fluid work just the same? ......I assume?

I'm giving up on the 626 manifold with the phenolics as well. I'm going to try the 626 manifold alone as well as the MX3 manifold with the phenolics to see if one of those two combinations will work. This heat outside is kicking my *** , though. I just want to be donw with it.
