Re: UK Sam's 1.6 Turbo MX-3 project
Thats fine Fellas I dont mind people copying it, just do the design justice
Treat it like a sculpture ie. consider it from all angles, mark the lines out with tape and always cut inside the line and file up to it. I used a very worn down hard disc cutter in the angle grinder to do mine. The grill mesh is pinned in by the bumper bar at the top then I made some special 'L' brackets to pull it in at the bottom, and you really want a import square plate on the side for full effect too
@ Josh, the spoiler has been shelved for now, its way down the list on things to do Im afraid I may not even use it and stay smooth, as Im about to plate over the aeriel and bung up the washer jets on the bonnet/roof.

Re: UK Sam's 1.6 Turbo MX-3 project
Knocked up this stainless steel fuse box cover today, need some velcro
dots to attach it with though.
![Image](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/djsonofsam/Photo0751.jpg)
Ive also got a cheeky little waterslide decal to go on there.
![Image](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/djsonofsam/KGrHqRjIE3S2d531BOHzkIS1tQ0_12.jpg)
probably all need clearcoating once its on there.

Re: UK Sam's 1.6 Turbo MX-3 project
Very nice! A buddy of mine has a laser engraving machine and he made a couple sets of center caps with the Diamond Mazda logo. If you want one with a M logo or something let me know.
Keep up the good work

The obligatory " ground clearence" photo:
![Image](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/djsonofsam/Picture1070.jpg)
Our driveway has now been refurbed so I can get the car back on the hardstanding outside my flat and starting working Her again, with some more lowness on the front, new 4" tailpipe sniper exhaust backbox, a boot hatch delock bung plug which Im going to machine and have painted along with removing and blanking off the rear washer jet and aerial... then it might be ready for some photshoots....
