Did either of you time your cars?
I mean, before and after using the strut bars, to know the REAL improvement, if there is one.
"Improvements" in feeling are great, but they're also highly subjective and, at least in my experience, they seldom translate to the stopwatch.

I don't have track use w/ my car but I did test it on a couple turns on a road by my house. Before when I got to about 45 on the turn, the car would rolls more and it pushed a bit (this was a sharp turn). After, I was able to take the same turn about 50, and the car still felt more stable then before, although it still pushed. There was a noticeable change in "feeling". I know it is still subjective, but if they didn't work, I doubt so many people would buy them, and I doubt they would come stock on some cars and an option on others. Like I said, even if it is minor, it's not really a big price to pay for them, nor is it hard to install. Plus they look cool

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to discourage you.
Obviously, you're the one that has to be happy with your car, and as I said before, if you like it, go for it! After all, once all the opinions are history, all that matters is YOUR opinion on your ride.

What I was offering was a purely performance oriented advice.

Years ago, when I was involved in racing (as a mechanic for a friend's car. I didn't own a car at the time), it was my pet peeve when I did a setup modification and after a lap he came to me with an opinion on whether I should keep that mod or not based on what it "felt" like.
So I still get a little carried away. Sorry.

Debatable is all I said. I have a pair but have never installed them. I plan to just to see what the fuss is about, but there always seems to be something else to do.

I had one on the front of my last mx-3, it was more for looks than function, I don't Auto-X. However maybe someday there should be some wytbars to match the rest of your suspension goodies.

Ill tell all of you right now. just put it one. no need to test it at a track or anything. just put it on and go 70mph on the free way and tell me how much tighter your handling is.

Not to thread jack, but I've been meaning to put one on the back. Maybe my endlinks are wonky, but I want to tighten things up back there.

the way I see it... if mazdaspeed designed a part for this car (mazdaspeed front strut bar) then it must be important... I'm sticking with the engineers. 8)
