that is a Vac block. They are often used for ITB setups. They distribute the Vac signal to different sources. Boost gauge, boost controller, piggy back etc. Should clean up the bay, and I get to remove some ugly Vac T's.

Just finished reading you worklog again. I forgot how freaking awesome this build is. Great work man. Definitely gives me a general guideline for the B6 Build seeing as how I won't be doing a BP anytime soon. Did you ever get it in for Dyno/Tune time? The blue is so freaking vibrant. Love the black/blue/grey you have going on. I was never too big on red but I'd like to get mine as color coordinated as yours. Matching IMO is what really tops off an awesome custom build.

Great work again. Can't wait to see the final numbers and maybe some vid/sound clips??? Please and thank you? :-)

Thank you very much for the kind words.

I am still debating doing the internals and Mike gave me a spare head I was thinking about working on as well. Will have numbers around spring. I have to get off my butt and wrenching again.

hahaha! I hate that stuff. I have a few pieces of the OEM stuff on some of my power steering wires and it's falling apart everywhere.

Tiny update. Finally warm enough to do a little work in the garage. Old ugly rad overflow out, new mishimoto unit in.

I've only had time to put in the rad overflow. Will need to clean the bay a bit more before installing the other tank.

I like the fact the stock hose was the exact length I needed. May replace in the future, but no extra costs needed for the install.

Doing a little bit of spring cleaning. The vented hood can be a bit of a PITA. Lots still to do, but getting there.

hey OBD'OH

I had a few questions in regards to your transmission setup. I know you switched to a G-series tranny...

my questions are:

1) did the G series axels pop right in or did you have to mod the passenger side where the half shaft bolts to the block?

2) what kind of clutch set up are you running? is it for the 1.6 MX-3 or is it a 1.8 kit?

3) did you have any wiring issues when connecting the reverse gear sensor? because your car is OBD-2 and the trans is OBD-1... or does that not matter at all?

thanks for your help man....Love the build as always
Chris
