Keep it flat black! I built my Mustang to do crazy grass roots motorsport events with. Now that it has a $3500.00 paint job on it, The only racing it does is 1/4 mile. The Jay-Spec 323 KLZE is going to be flat black, and I am going to auto cross it, Take it to king of the hill (two street car oval track racing), open track it, drag race it ect.ect. Paint is bad news! If you paint it you will end up with color matched lawn chairs sitting around in parking lots with other like minded people. It happened to me, don't let it happen to you! Paint always needs washin' and waxin' clay bar'n, buffin' and lots of other things that end with "'n" that are no fun.

I think my slow car knows whats up... I couldn't get it to start yesterday... I'm wondering if I just have a really weak battery or something commonplace like that...
Engine swap will have to be put off for another week... sigh

probinator ecu did not work for some reason. I'm working with probinator to figure out a solution. I bought solo ryder's probinator ecu and I'm about to go try it... as well as a 7 nipple disti (thanks for the fast shipping dude! 4 day shipping from canada W00T!!!
I forgot to grab the motor mount when I got the engine... so barry sent it to me in the mail... I got it Wednesday (thanks man!!!)
I'm working on all this stuff today and tomorrow...

use your finger to apply a very thin film of Super Black silicone RTV to all mating surfaces. It will seal very well, the downside is it will destroy the gaskets if you ever take them off.
