The financial facts are that there just aren't enough MX-3's in existance, let alone in North America, let alone with owners with actual liquid funds for a guy like that to have a hope of making money from anything but the absolute simplest product imaginable.

The fact is that we are dinosaurs in the sport compact market.

Charlie is dead on, unfortunately for us...

I personally believe these might sell enough to turn the guy a profit, if we save up and plan ahead:
- Perfect fit FMIC/SMIC
- Supercharger bracket(A/C location)
- Stainless valvecover/intake manifold/throttle body bolt kit
- Replacement antenna caps? I have yet to see one that isn't cracked, and it would be nice to remove the antenna entirely without paying for body work.

oh oh how about direct fit aluminum radiators for around 200 or less for the V6 models :D :D

or another shot CF rear hatches

Im sure any idea we come up with has to be under 1000USD for anyone to even think of saying the idea.

bolt on turbo? super chargers? how many of you have 2000+ right now to drop on something like that.

lets think realistic here gents

I'm not sure... ask 2fazed, I bought the car from him.

I did remove the radiator at one point, and the dimensions were same as stock, so far as I could tell.

I'd destroy a fiberglass bumper in like a week where I live. I have to park my cars touching bumpers to make them fit on my driveway. If they were urethane, I'd buy like 3...

I agree with this, the problem is a lot of us live in a harsh weather world... Fiberglass bumpers wouldn't cut it. The other problem is that the parts for our cars are becoming rare. So we have one of 3 things happening, we can't find what we want, 2 we do find them and then the prices are crazy, 3 the items are crappy conditions...

I having a hard time finding my car in a junk yard... :(

yeah, and many have tried at least 5 times. One of these days Corksport is going to just say "leave us alone mx3´s" because someone always contacts them about a "group buy" and it never happens
Someone should just contact a person with the bumper already and have it copied for them

I would do it if i knew where to go

and i dont think it really matters if its fiberglass or not. I had my flimsy corksport front for 3 or 4 years in the harsh german winters on a lowered car so I was pretty much a snow plow. Had no issues. Whether its plastic, fiberglass, or whatever if you crash or bump into something its going to be damaged.

No one is turned off by the material anyway its the price. If there was a group buy for 150USD delivered to you front door then EVERYONE that wanted one would have one regardless of materials used. It could be made out of playdough and people would still get it if it was cheaper.

I have the last brand new CorkSport one(that I know of) in my attic. I am still planning to use it when I get a "real" paintjob done... Unless someone snags it from my FS thread of course.

We are getting a little off topic here though, you guys! ;)
