Yes you can take the one from your old wheel. I took the one off of my 94' and put it on my MS wheel. with all the airbag sensors and everything. Mine was fused on I thought I was going to break it taking it off. but the ideal one would be the one for your wheel.

Or you mount a horn button elsewhere in the car that's not on the wheel...
