a box?!?! I have seen the type of belt mounts on the 94 presso and the type that are on my 92 MX3 that used to have auto belts then converted to manual and i have seen hundreds of MX3's are you talking about something that mounts behind the side plastic or under the carpet? I know you may have them now but im curious as to what you are referring to. How am i not surprised diezzel has a CF hatch.......
Hey diezzel do you think they are strong enough to mount a MS wing on the back?? No one has done it yet

I've handled both of them and a CF Hatch without glass weighs less then the spoiler does, with that and how CF hoods can rip off from hood latches I would hazard the gas that no an MS wing cannot be safely mounted onto the CF hatch.

I just really wanted a CF hatch but if it doesnt work with the wing then ill pass. Maybe there is a plate or something you could put under the hatch. that way its not just held by only bolts that could rip out

For reinforcement if you had the bolts from the spoiler go all the way through, then have a piece of metal with holes drilled attach to the other side and then mount all the way up towards the top of the hatch? Don't think it's worth the effort honestly,
But hold on a sec here, doesn't Moony have a CF hatch on his DD with the MS spoiler?

His CF hatch has a wraparound spoiler on it...
Rob's reinforcement idea is the way to go. It'll hold up just fine with a piece of metal beneath the hatch.

I would have to agree . Metal is the way to go .
