I may be wrong. I got out my K8 dipstick and it says B61P on it! Someone idiot must have changed it or mazda f**ked up building the engine.

They are different.... but if the KL01 is the standard stick, than yes they're all the same. Myth debunked!

Have you guys seen the documentary about the "hydrosolator"? It's done with a guy from TV, I think from CSI or something. Effing hilarious.

Its actually at the bottom, the tip of the stick pushes in and activates it and uses the length of of the stick to measure the resistance. That's why there's the twist in it...

I'm using a DE one in my ZE, they are exactly the same. My k8 also has the exact same one. KL01 on the yellow handle. I just got mine from a junkyard, they gave it to me for free.
