Rule of thumb usually is cheap rotors, good pads. I got ceramic on the front of my MX-6 and so far so good. Pads cost me $50 which isn't bad in Canada. Chainsaws, I like that.

Ah hell, I picked up some incredibly cheap Organic rears for like $12 USD, from a local store that had them sitting on a shelf for a decade.
Fronts cost a bit more, sadly.
Still, you get what you pay for, unless it sat on a shelf...
