I would say the mx-3 versions are more rare, but the mx-6 versions frequently come with a heating element not available in the mx-3 version.

I currently picked up a heating element for a skidoo handlebar warmer, going to try that for a heated mirror mod for the truck. Unfortunately I've been told I'll have to heat it up to get the glass off, so I might have to get a spare one first to try
