Just be careful new Subarus are not as reliable and are notorious for head gaskets

Even the new-new ones? My ex's TS ended up needing a head gasket, didn't even hit 200'000kms on the clock yet. She got it fixed, but the job was shotty and needed to be done again within a few months

Its more-so people are getting it in their heads that the cars are indestructible. We've had people at our dealer skip oil changes for 30,000 miles! really?! There was even a guy with a new gen STI that decided to wait 20,000 before his next oil change.

I've noticed many Subuaru owners are idiots. Its true. But those that take care of the cars and have them regularly serviced, you see their cars with 300k miles roll through running like new.

Exactly! She showed me picture of the process and I noticed the (little) clearance between the head and the fender. I asked just that.

What kind of moron designs heads with no cam bearings.
Americans don't like to change oil in their engines, that's a proven fact. Head that depends on oil for cam to ride on is idiotic!

what is plasti-dip? Looks like you just painted stuff?

Also how did you tape off so perfect around the rear letter emblems??

Plasti dip is the new euro light.. but a bit better looking lol

It's basically a rubber/plastic paint that you spray onto your emblems or other items.. and you can just peel it off if it ever gets messed up.
It's all the rave with the mazda 3 guys anyways.
