I thought I did after a cop said I was speeding 15km more then my speedometer said I was.
I checked before and after photos and if there was any difference it was very minimal only about 2km/h. Plus I double checked with a gps and i was only off about 5km so that would be more in just a speedo with 250k on it plus a gps which isn't really designed to be accurate within the km.
So cop is a effin tool

Re: Help on installing indigo gauges
just FYI, GPS's can't account for hills, etc, so that can throw the speed reading out quite a bit! There's a real steep hill near my house & my GPS says I average about 15km/h up & down it, when I'm going 60km/h haha

Re: Help on installing indigo gauges
Yah I figured as much.. when I was going down hills it would jump up about 15km.. I was like huh must be the hill.. so definitely the cop fails at life and was just lying. Average flat straight it would be off by about 4-5km/h so nothing out of the ordinary.ethand wrote:just FYI, GPS's can't account for hills, etc, so that can throw the speed reading out quite a bit! Re: Help on installing indigo gauges
hey. cluster went pop, every gauge stopped working and nothing lights up. back of it has a huge black burn spot on it. so i went and ripped the cluster out of my parts car.
same car. both 94 gs's. BUT this is where im stuck.. the gas in the parts car was just over half a tank... and i got justtttttt over a 1/4 tank in my car.. will it go down to 1/4 tank on the gauge or stay at just over half? ive tried to manually move the needle down but it just raises back up.
thanks!!
EDIT! Whats the fastest you have got a entire cluster out of the dash. i broke my record yesterday. just under 5 minutes. (i wasnt worried about breaking anything tho, but ended up not breaking a thing)![Welder :welder:](./images/smilies/welder.gif)

Re: Help on installing indigo gauges
It should sort itself out.
Either way, the fuel light is on a different float than the fuel level, so that should still work fine![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
