find a new parts store, the one you're using is clearly incompetent. Don't say axle, say jackshaft or halfshaft.

Or just post a WTB and replace the bearing, good as new.

well the search has begun i called the mazda dealership and found out that the specific part that i am looking for is in japan and would cost me $1036 to get it to me. Time to start checking junkyards... are there any vehicles that directly interchange parts to the mx-3?

V6 Probes and MX-6s will work, you will just have to take that axle out of the half-shaft and use the MX-3 one.

See im not sure which part is called what on this stuff but i need the wheel side part of the shaft.

Alright, I don't know what you're talking about any more, so find it in the manuals or post a picture.

im curious as to which half of the shaft is considered the "axle" and which is considered the "halfshaft". I need the half that goes into the wheel assembly not the half that goes into the tranny is all im saying.

the axle goes to the wheel, there is only one halfshaft and its on the passenger side, and is about 2 feet long and has no CV joints in it.


start asking for an axle, because you mean axle.

Okay, i cant find any cars to rob parts from!! ive tried all junk yards within 3 hours from home and still nothing? Anyone have the axel that is willing to sell it? i need to get this car on the road!
