you guys my situation just totally changed, I finally got to look under the car and its not the tranny that blew up. it seems that the halfshaft took a $#!T and left a mess all over my engine bay... the shaft that goes in the tranny came out a lil bit but the oil seal on the tranny still seems ok. so im only in need of an intermediate shaft for my escort gt g series trans.

Im not sure but I guess a kia sephia halfshaft wouldnt fit. do you think i can use a protege halfshaft??

Do any of you guys know how much oil my tranny needs??

check the online manual for the qt of fluid, but i think its like 4 or 5. you have to use the spedo gear as your dip stick. if thats what happened i would probably change the seal, they are only a couple of bucks. to answer your question YES the pro BP shaft will fit.
