Working on installing the mirrors and projector headlights...didn't figure the mirrors would be such a PITA...turns out the stock fasteners are too short. Good thing I happened to have exactly 8 screws that were the perfect length. I'll post pix once I'm finished...

Finally got the Headlights, mirrors, and signals installed...also removed the stock bumper support and replaced it with my aluminum brace I Fabbed up from old parts I had laying around...

I would highly recommend putting the core bumper back on. Even though its plastic, if you ever get in an accident, it'll do a lot better job saving you than that aluminum bar.

Now after looking at the pics a bit better, you can't do that. Replace that aluminum bar with some steel rollcage tubing and you'd be set. 8)

That's the plan...the old strut brace is just a temp fix for the old cracked bumper support...

Car looks great!
I do have two suggestions; I would flat black rattle can the over-spray behind the cover to clean it up just a little bit, and maybe make an air dam to direct flow from the opening in the front bumper to the lower part of the Rad support. It would stiffen up the entire lower part of the bumper cover as well as help the large opening be more functional  . just a suggestion if you have not already thought of it :)

Good Work, it looks great! I love the color its really similar to my Kawasaki.

Got a chance to do a little work to the bumper today. Fabbed up some supports out of a sheet of steel sheet metal. Plus my youngest son couldn't wait to get behind the wheel today....good thing he's still to little to drive. Mazda Baby!!!!
