i just think they look better. i also plan on wiring the leds onto my turn signals and think the inside position of the horizontal ones would look weird.

from everything ive read they fit well but there slightly smaller then the stock headlights, which can be fixed easily with rubber trim/weather stripping to make them fit better. also the problems people have been having with shitty wiring can be easily fixed aswell. the only real problem ive herd of that i can see causing problems in the future is the cutoff on the projector for hids. supposedly the horizontal projectors are made for hids and have a cutoff inside the lens to block the light from going into oncoming traffic which the vertical leds supposedly do not. even then thats not a huge deal if you dont care about other drivers (which i do not)

I'm not a HUGE fan of the altezzas, but I do certainly like them far more than the OEM lights. Contrary to the popular opinion on this site, i think they're ugly. Just my opinion.

Haha that's not very nice. That's one thing I hate most about other drivers with HID is their blinding lights when in oncoming traffic. Could cause an accident you know...

Should get a blue tinted Broadway rear view mirror.

For the most part, the only people I feel I need to "get back" at on the road are the douches in the over sized pick up trucks who drive around like they own the road.

Ild say the vertical projectors with black backing w/turns wired to the leds if you must. I did it on mine and I loved the modern look of the lights going with the turn signal. But what Ild really recomend is glass lamps w/blacked out capsules ftw.

The vertical LED with halos is the only style I've seen. Does anyone make them with horizontal LEDs? Besides a Diy job?

Absolutely right. More people probably own them over vertical as well.

To be fair, "rice" is when you mod your vehicle that in no way enhances the performance of your vehicle. I'd say replacing 18 year old tail lights is enhancing.

Not really the bulbs get replaced all the time the problem is the lens gets dirty and fogs just like the headlights you just don't see it because they are already almost opaque. Crome altezzas I'd say rice. Black ones however, they are just a more individual look than the stock all one lens crap.

Black or smoked is my vote. The straight chrome is to chromed for our car. We not driving muscle cars that are supposed to blind you with body lines!

I have the black ones with vertical LED's wired into my side markers. LOVE UM. I think both ways look good. the horizontals work IMO with the front off the small air dam. The verticals, I think, flow with the wheel's fenders.

Different strokes for different folks.....I guess.

Not to mention though the vertical lights aren't D.O.T approved.

d.o.t. doesnt mean much. if a cop wants to give you a ticket for aftermarket headlights having a d.o.t. stamp on them isnt going to make a huge difference.

btw my headlights came in the mail the other day. i havnt installed them yet but my first impressions are of pretty good quality. the only problem i noticed was the rubber trim they put on beside the leds wasnt even close to being straight. but that being said its not very important as our cars have rubber trim exactly where it is on the headlights...
