I love those face palms. 
So did Mazda or Toyota build a stock KLZE car or was it just in their Nippondenso race series cars. Unlike NASCAR, NipponDenso tracks were always 'right turning'. The Moogooguypan 500 was won two years running by the Mazda ZEteehee race team. 94 and 95.

Not sure, last I heard the KLZE was a secret "honda-killer" prototype and someone found several thousand of them in an abandoned warehouse, so they just started selling them. They were probably to conform with the Nippondenso series production rules.
