waiting on some new drop links before I fit these!

as an aside : Things on the Horizon for my MX-3 > import size number plate + bracket
to relocate it to the side, might make a grill for large bumper and fog light apertures, black mirror tint rear and front sidelights, buy & fit new clutch (centerforce dual friction or SPEC) look at a smaller radiator of a 323f 1.8i so i can run boost pipes past it, get some 330cc injectors of an MR2, oil line and gaskets for turbo and make up boost and intercooler pipes using an MR2 IC, sort out management (probably AEM) then fit it all up :D and get boosted 8)

made another push to get these coilovers on today and yesterday (yes in the rain)
Was going really well till the drivers side front wishbone bolt refused to pass the sump So had to change ball joint and cut off drop link in situ!

managed to get the fronts done and it got to about 2:30 and I thouht...
... right time for a beer
Set the fronts up by aligning the lower mount level with inner strut body
then wound them both up thirteen times, wich leaves about a 2 finger
gap between the wheel and arch and about another 20mm to play with
if I want to lower further
Round two next weekend, then off to pro-tyres for a 4 wheel alignment.

This shows my first setting before the thirteen turns up, plus I had
to move the brake line further back and as it fouled on
the wheel.

Its dropped another one fingers worth after a few hours of sitting on its wheels!

are those 15's? They look a little small for your wells

Yes they are 15 x 7 (et 38) with a 195/50/15 tyre as that is the most popular
tyre size meaning they are cheap to buy over here @ 30 pounds a corner.

although I have my eye on some deep dish 15 x 8 (et25) axis OG rims!

Managed to get the rear coilovers installed this afternoon in about 3 hours.

There is probably about another 40mm of adjustment lower on the rear
if I wanted too go even lower, think Im happy with were it is sat at the mo!
Off to pro-tyres tommorow for a four wheel laser aligment session

Just had the tracking done, so gave it a proper drive afterwards!
I have to say im seriously impressed with the ride quality of these
coilovers, on the softest setting they are no more harsh or bouncy
than my lowering springs! but still feels very tight .

I think Ive lowered by -80mm and it just managed to get
up on there ramps, he did mention it did scrape on the towing bracket slightly on the way down though.

All in all very happy indeed as I was worried seeing as this is my daily
driver, didnt want it to be too harsh, wich it isnt ! reminds me a little
of riding on Koni yellow shocks and springs

Big thumbs up for the XYZ's

That's a great stance. Now all you need to get is the k-sport big brake kit. :D
