Mine used to have a brightness dial, and it would make weird noises when dimmed as well. I have no idea how glow gauges work, so... I just assume its normal

I'd like to swap knowledge with this guy. He has knowledge on doing a motor swap, while I have knowledge on installing reverse gauges... it isn't fair!!!

I hate to bump an old thread but when this wiring is down(gauge to dimmer) is it red (from the inverter) to the red from the dimmer, and black from the inverter to any ground?

Sorry if it's explained and I just don't understand
