yeah i cant even really do that, it would deform the cover too much... i think they make the new ones with more coverage area then the original factory cover.
come to think of it, there was a recall on that cover in canada because AC compressors and Alternators were getting excessive corrosion on them,,, that must be why the new ones are bigger

Was there? I should look into that. Although they're intact on both my MX-3s, they're ripped in places and deformed lol.
