a little base note, the ZE was running fine when i got it, then it started reving a little for a couple months (like 2000-2500) parked it for 6 months (and past 6 winters) because i had a work truck to use. when i returned to school for welding (2 year course started in sept) and had to return the truck this super reving problem occured. so i tipped the tp sensor to create the bounce and lower RPM but bad drivablitily, i couldnt keep 30km in a school zone if my life depended on it, at least without looking like a first time stick driver. I removed the throttle body by double bolting and pulling the studs, removed the 4 screws and used varsol and let it sit for an hour. put a bit of oil and it seemed to work for about 20km, then back to normal. sitting at a light for 30 seconds and at 4200rpm and all of a sudden it dropped the next time i pressed the clutch down to about 2500 and has been ok since (this is like yesterday) i also checked my timing to 10deg and the car seems to be ok reving about 2000-2500. i only have EGR codes due to ZE (egr) and my post that didt show was about that. i had checked all that and then what?

All said and done, two questions, one is wich IAC can i use (i think it's millenia)
question two is for wytbishop, on the back firewall side of the TB is there a threaded opening leaking ???? i covered it with tape and it drops maybe 200rpm and i didnt modify my brake booster i just let it kinda touch and make a groove but theres no hole theres still just under 1/4inch of metal to anything damages, but i dont have a extender plate in the TB. this problem occured and most of this doesnt matter because it was fine before, this just happened. wake up one morning and BLAMMO problem just like that pretty much.

P.S. it seems to me there is a vaccuum leak of some sort in the rear left area on the engine bay under the intake near the heads but i cant quite put my finger on exactly what is leaking. usually only hear it after its been running fro a while. Thanks again very much for your time in helping me out, i know this is a lot of blah blah, i just want to let you know it's appreciated thanks guys

Compatible TBs include the Millenia, but also the Probe, MX6 and 626 will work. I'd be tempted to swap the entire TB not just the IAC. Unless you have a bored TB you don't lose anything. If you use the IAC from the Probe, MX6, 626 you'll have a big vacuum port to deal with. Initially you might just cap it. Some helpful links below.

Link with KLZE intake manifold adapted for use on a KLDE engine – but also has lots of info on using different IACs.

Link with mods for dealing with the large vacuum port of the KL03 (KLDE) IAC:

If your idle is not surging - just permantently way too high then I suspect it is the TPS not set correctly.
