well hell i dont know really.. my friend has a 1.6 dohc miata and he put a rx7 maf on.. i got a 1.6 soch with a rx7 maf.. now hes running my old maf so im not really joking at all...

Please read a few posts back. There is a difference between a vaf and a maf.

Edit: Sorry I couldn't tell if we were actually talking about MAF or VAF, so much of both..
I don't know the codes on them but I'd assume any 1.6 with the same style plug would interchange. Still a j/y unit will do ya, these units don't really seem to burn out...
