13 is definitely higher than I've tested. I ran the car out of gas, and filled it up with just under 12 gallons.

No man. I can fit 45L when on empty, probably still some gas left in the tank. Anyhow, I've thrown this thread off course. The floor is your's soloryder.

I am also averaging very poorly. I get in the neighborhood of 20-22mpg. I have several suspects. Obviously the IAC valve can be buggered. The TPS can affect fuel mixture.

I also have weird idle problems and I think that the 2 conditions may be connected. I pulled codes again last night and I have 4, 8, 9 and 10. So all that indicates that I have a Coolant Temp Sensor problem, an Air Temp and Air Flow Sensor problem or some combination. I just pray they are not shorts. I hate shorts.

that's pretty good to me....390Km into miles....242 miles on half a tank. Wish my mx-3 would get that. I only get 230 miles before my gas light goes on.

He's saying his brother's probe gets that, not his Mx-3.

My Gas light comes on at exactly 10 gallons gone, after a fill-up when I squeeze a few extra squirts in after it automatically shuts off. That way I know my measurements are good. If you're feeling brave enough, get a gas can, drive it to empty, put in the gas from the can, and reset the trip Odo. Go to a gas station, and fill it to equal 50L (including the gas from the can), then run it to empty again, noting how many Km you get after the light comes on.

Jesse. On my next trip to vernon I am gonna do that, drive from white rock to vernon (about 350 km) and then drive around downtown vernon area for abit till she goes empty, then take a small jerry can and put some gas in. See how many kms I can squeeze and how many litres it is to fill.

I swear the tank is only 40L, because I have never put in more then 37 litres and that would also mean my gauge is reading wayyy off.

When I was messing around on my GS before taking it apart, The gas light was on. I figured it was empty, but nope! Had a little less than 2.5 gallons left in the tank when i went to drain it. Maybe this tid-bit of info can help.

i just made 295km .. with 19L of gas ...
i dont even have a gas light when it stalls, i fill

the fartest i went .. is 570kms with a full tank

I dunno, on a stock K8 I'm getting around 500-520km per full tank of gas.

i just got about 140 miles on 3/4 of a tank. i have a hole in my exhaust tho.
