I'd like maintenance to not be included (If something needed to be replaced, it's not maintenance, in this conext). Just what it would cost someone to built a car exactly like yours, assuming they got the same deals on the car, and stuff.

Ya haha, I tell my wife my swap cost 2500. When in actual fact after the price of the car, being a noob car guy I paid everybody else to do it. So, with labour about 12-13000. But that's with 2 swaps, so as it sits, maybe 11,500.

Including the car, I think spent somewhere $8000 so far.

I think mine is around 5000 or less. I lost track.

This is my third MX-3, so you can add about 6k to my previous total.

I bought my mx3 for 1000

because it was super cheap, started to add parts here in there,

front hubs, shafts, suspension, windshield, interior, tint, seats, bleh..


it adds up quick.. lol

and the cars value ios still around less than 2000 lol

car has been on fire, hydro locked LOL wow.. 250 thousand miles, and many more to go.

Wow im just flipping out how cheap things are at your folks area, sucks living in Hawaii but anyway I spent around 4K on my RS that I crashed in my signature.. As for my GS I plan on spending just as much to make it look the same as my RS plus I have put about $1000.00 to get it running right..

There's quite a few things to add to it, but the total is roughly $4265, and that's with the deals I got on most parts. If I would have just paid regular prices, it would have been roughly $11,599. This helps when I show my wife just how much I could have spent...even though she still says she's still gonna ban me from Internet shopping if I spend too much more...
