im glad you posted a pic that doesnt show my smashed up fender

so after hiding my so called project.... and working on it. i might as well tell yas whats up. i bought an SE from a local guy ( not a member) for 1000. the car was/is in somewhat rough shape....

interiors nice and still pretty minty. how ever the rockers are rusty, and the other day when i went to put the ebrakes on i noticed a rust hole in the frame.
this is how it sits now.


anyways its going to be up for part out soon as im done the interior swap and taking what i neeed from it.

sad that i have to do it yea i thought it was pretty sick..... but after talking to about 4-6 of the guys i have on msn from here. only 1 said fix rest say not worth it.

better judgement tells me i should listen. looks like my lil blackys getting a nice facelift haha!

for the record IM THE ONE WHO SAID FIX IT! alsooo the ONLY one who seen it in person....i think your a fool for scrappin it...but thats just me

Dude. If you have 2 mx3's and your about to dump a bunch of cash and a ze motor. isn't iot common sense to pick the car thats not rotten? so what this is a SE, take the seats and panels and swap it over.

this is more what im leaning towards thsts the theory that makes the most sense to me. the GS surpisingly for having 300k on it has not a spec of rust really under..... a lil flake here or there but no rot thru the frames. i did find some bondo recently in the rockers but thats it


pros/cons.

gs wins better body...wiser choice

Mmmmmm leather so today when i got home i went at the SE and got all the interior out minus the carpeting and the steering wheel.

Take the steering wheel too if it's in nice shape. It's wrapped in leather as well.
