I'm still undesided on the turbo. I was just looking at how much i can pull from this motor on a N/A build. I have the turbo just sitting in the garage so i might just put it on.

for a n/a build i dont think anyones really gotten into it too much.
ive been curious about this to as a b16 up till vtec makes the same power as the b6de or very close, but when vtec kicks in its engaging a different lobe on the cams with more lift and duration. vtec is there so you dont lose your low rpm drivability by only having a agressive cam. mind you it has higher compression to and probab;ly a different stroke.

but with stage 2 or 3 miata cams with cam gears
higher compression pistons
5 angle valve job
oversized valves
titanium or stronger valve springs retainers
knife edged crank
custom intake manifold without vics
bored throttle body
engine management
better ignition system like a msd
2.0 probe header
i dont see why a b6de couldnt make 160-170 at the crank, but youd lose all your lower rpm driveability and it would be very costly

i saw a post where JOSH(i think) had a b6de with miata cams and vj-14 at 14psi and im positive he put down 230whp
so turbo would probably be your best way to go-

i think all you need is:
bigger fuel pump
1st gen probe mx6 injectors and turbo
intercooler
piping
BOV
engine management
oil feed oil return, etc.

and at 6-8 psi youd in the 14's depending on your drivetrain, driving- at least thats what i read in his post he ran a 14.1 at

i may be wrong im sure someone here will chime in also
dohc b6, intake, exhaust, miata cams ready to go in
