Thanks for the comments guys.

So after the swap the car was NOT running, it would start one time out of like 40 try's and when it ran fuel came pissing out. There was something wrong! Ends up 2 injector orings were messed up causing my issue. So I swapped in a rail from a DE motor, car would still not run, we tried EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING, I was very upset and still am at this point. I had it running for one day in the last 5 months on a 93 harness and ecu, and the car ran but not well. NO VRIS, NO cooling fan, NO Power, NO idle. I was pissed, the horn would honk if you took off the coolant temp sensor or when u switched the car off. The horn would BLOW if the cooling fan was supposed to come on too. RARG.

So I think it is the harness now, so I have since removed it and redid the harness and found that the 2 connectors to the purge solenoid behind the IM were melted together. I hope that it fixes the issue so that the car will run! I have also redone my intake manifold cause the polish looked lame:

More updates soon!

Ok, so small update. I have decided to hourglass my TB as I am waiting for the weather to warm up. Here are some pics of the TB and my bros PGT-ZE motor:

Well did some work today, put my harness completely in and saw the knock sensor had a broken wire. So I repaired that.

I installed my harness, Intake mani and battery. It got dark out so I called it a day. I am missing my FPR so I cannot start the car till I get that. Here is what I did:

Did you hourglass the butterfly while it was in the TB or did you have to remove it first? I've been thinking of doing that on one of my spares, but I dont want to ruin it!

So excited :) I see light at the end of the tunnel!

I hooked up the k834 ecu today to see if I could run codes. Previously the car would NOT run codes when in diagnostic mode, the CEL would just stay on! Well, I hooked up the ecu and put it in diagnostic mode and I heard a SWEET sound... The fans! They kicked in for the first time in recent memory, the car then proceeded to run codes! I ran 8, 10, 12, 25, 26, 28, 29, 34. Lots of codes, but nothing major (don't have the intake or TB hooked up FYI). This is great news for me :) Hopefully she will be running withing a week! If it does not start then I blame the disty. I may have to shell out to get a disty, but I will gladly do that if there is warranty and the car will run!

I am going to make my 3" intake now for it to see how that mocks up and will post pics when ready! :welder:

Here are the pics of the finished intake:

I made this also for my black car:

http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c302/ ... G_0103.jpg

What it consists of is a secret  but its all quality parts! I am considering making them for our members here if there is interest. The sound of a short ram is great and the throttle response is awesome. I switched from a CAI to this as it looks cleaner, is a larger pipe (3") and I don't have to be worried about sucking up water. There is times when it picks up some warm air from the motor, if that is the case though, your not driving hard enough! I am considering making a block off plate so that it will not pick up the engine heat and seal off itself from the motor via a seal that goes snug with the hood. I will create this later.

Post up what you guys think so far! PM me if interested in the WAI setup and I will see how ppl I get and consider a GI thread for this.
