Just don't get their ECU chips...Alex's never ran right and that's all he ran.

I've worked with tiger on numerous occasions...Bought 2 K8's a B16 and tranny and a full JDM EG6 civic hatch. All good motors, and one awesome car. If you like hondas :lol:

Ask for Sayit..., tell him you know Steve. He has helped me every time. I have read both good and bad reviews about them. People have to take responsibility for what they are buying. If you think its too good a deal, it probably is...there is a lot of discrepancy around these motors. K8-ZE, KF-ZE, KL-ZE...they all look the same, minus intake, injectors and head codes. They will replace or exchange anything they sell if it is not correct.

Just FYI.

We had an issue where they sold Devlin a DE rather than a ZE, and after weeks of arguing and some documentation, they finally swapped it out, the labor out of his pocket...

I understand what you're sayin...did they do the initial install? Or did they ship you the wrong motor and you installed it? I'm not sayin mistakes don't happen. I'm just curious as to whether you installed a motor without knowing it was wrong until it was in the car? Do DE's have bluetop injectors? I am not really surprised they would have charged for labor. One motor I bought had a hole in the valve cover...they were ready to ship me another one and take mine back, but I just wanted it in the car and had a spare front valve cover.

You have to realize that as much as we know about these cars, motors, and what WE want...they are only going off what they have been told. There is very little difference. I am sure if you had told them the motor was wrong before it was in the car the issue would have been resolved without you spending a cent.

Do they have a website?? :shrug:

Found it!

http://www.teknotik.com/product_section ... .php?id=43" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
That website is sooooo old http://www.teknotik.com/product_sections/component.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I tried to buy that spoiler back in 2004.... it was sold a long time ago.... They don't deal with Mazda stuff anymore
The guy Nick who ran Teknotic had the first BPT in Ontario in his Escort, he was going to do mine. Last time I went 2 yrs ago they didn't have any Mazda stuff only Honduh. Ohh they also gave Alex (Havoc) the wrong ECU and ended up overheating his engine and blowing it since it only had 1 cooling fan sensor in it when we need 2.

EDIT: Just talked to Nick... and they have NO Mazda stuff anymore only Honda and Acura stuff.

No, they did the install. The initial story I don't remember, been a few years. A few guys had swaps done there not long before and they were a-ok, but a new guy took over, didn't know, didn't care, and didn't believe us.

Yea I'd probably be pretty upset too if i figured i was gettin a ZE and received a DE. The place has changed a fair bit in the past year or two. All the JDM cars are something else...they're saying they're going to start importing the MX's this year. I want to pick one up if they do...i'm sick of fighting rust.

Hmmm you just gotta look for a rust free one.. and they are out there cause I got one for super cheap!
Just watch with RHD cars since 8 out of 10 insurance places won't insure it period. Mine is one of the few that will but when I got a quote for an RX7 it was the same as my MX3 if LHD but if it was RHD.... it's tripple what I am paying now cause of high risk!

I'd like to pick up an FC sometime this year, but if i had to get a commuter, i'd like to get a 626 hatch diesel, or supercharged diesel.
