I am thinking of doing the Protege5 steering wheel, but not sure if its nicer than my Momo Champion, and I got the 93 interior so it may not suit it as well as Jordans does. I ahve a couple Mazdaspeed Proetege shift knobs if anyone wants one.

John, a P5 steering wheel is the way to go, I would have gone that route but I found this first.

The reason why is its all black for one, and two it has cruise control built in.. MSP didnt have cruise...

I like the wheel cause the gripping area is solid and is thicker.. I like that

a for sure..What exactly is involved in putting the wheel on? and is there a way to hook up the cruise control and horn to the P5 wheel??

Yea.. I messed up my connector, but yea, you can hardwire it since the connectors are different.

As for the install, the splines are the same, all you need to do is cut/drill two notches in the back of the wheel for the blinker cancel, the P5 are:

Horizontal -O-

MX3 is:

Vertical:
|
O
|

You will see what I mean
