You know what Moon, there's so many of them here now it's ridiculous. The novelty is sooooo worn off. And passing on the highway takes on a whole new level of scary.
94' RS/GS/MS/CF Monster Turbo...coming soon.
93' GS SE, the Black Beast, the former love of my life...soon to be gutted and crushed.
94' GS, black on black, now in several small pieces...and one large crushed piece.

Hell ya. I was going to import a skyline. I kept putting it off and putting it off... now you see 1 or 2 a day. No one even cares anymore. I happen to like making safe left hand turns too... But I'm crazy like that. Maybe an FTO (just for the weekends). But I'd never hack my mx up to be a poser. (is that still what kids say these days?)

It would be alot more fun to import a front clip with some beast of an engine in it and make it 'fit' in a car it never originally came in.

Its possible to do Bro but will cost you thousands to complete. One of the Guys suggested that you inport a Jap model .. to this i say its not a bad idea but the Jap models are capped on power output and can be a bit basic unles you get something that has been customer abit (in that unique way that they do :wink:
    )

    I reckon you should import a UK/irish model. top range cars in a V6 at decent prices too. Thats what I did an my car is great ,,,,, with the exception of one or two minor problems that I am trying to sort right now.

      Actually the Japanese K8's are rated for 135hp rather than 130. Not sure if they do offer the 1.6, but the 1.5 is suppose to be a better motor.

      Getting a car from Europe would actually be more expensive. For us Canadians, there's a big thing about importing 15yr+ japanese vehicles, so we can get them pretty cheap. There's buisnesses that specialise in importing vehicles from Japan. You can get a Turbo FC for about C$3000

      My K8 has 135 hp and it was made for German market. By 1.5 you mean Z5 engine? They are fine and were also available in 323 and 323F (astina), but they have some bad points - valve clearance maintenance (if not done properly, valves could damage easily), loudy valvetrain (there's a small chain connecting two camshafts), only 66kW (and it is 16V DOHC). Plus points are no oil consumption, engine life (500 000 km is no problem for it without doing any repair), quite simple timing kit (no hydro-tensioner) and so on. :)
