I switched from GMAC to Progressive and saved like $350 over 6 months. The key to insurence to to not saty with one company. Every 6 months shop around and you will always find someone with a cheaper rate. You stay with one company they tend to not drop the rate as much as others will. They figure they have why drop it.

I pay 3800 SKK a year, it is something like $170 a year.

Yes, I have some kind of discount, it is Allianz-Slovenska poistovna insurance company, Wustenrot offers around $250 a year without discount. I pay my insurance once in 3-months, so it is around $45 in 90 days, quite good.

No freaking kidding. Do they take clients from overseas? Ha, or even out of country?

There's one solution - if I was owner of your MX-3, then it would be possible to insure it in my country. Haha, that is crazy idea - owning 40 MX-3's from mx-3.com :D
