GM trucks are decent, better than Honda or Toyota, which are wannabe trucks.

I wouldn't be so hard on Gm cars man, that ecotech engine is pretty cool..I have yet to see one blow up or have any problems that aren't related to user error....Kia or hyundai though.....not so much...

For best reliability though, get a toyota, they last the longest.

Not that I am an expert, I just pretend to be :P

I think it looks like a mini G35 in the rear...

Kia and Hyundia are JUNK. Sorry if any of you own one.
+1.

I wasn't going to say it.
I am sorry I cannot agree. Kia was a junk, it was a long time ago when the company tried to make their own vehicles. When you say KIA is/was a junk, you say Mazda was junk, because KIA used Mazda engines, transmissions and suspension in their models, i.e. Kia Pride is an old Mazda 121 (the whole car).

KIA opened new factory in my country last year, I must say (what I've seen) the quality is really very good! Better than VW-group cars (VW, Seat, Skoda). And when you buy a new Kia, you get 7-years warranty, it is not that bad I think.

It is the same situation as Japanese cars were in.. :) And now we all have MX-3's. Why? :) And I must say Korean cars are developing their quality much faster than Japanese cars, unfortunately. Compare Honda City and Kia Cee'd.

two words:

Kia - FE3.

Now for a lot more words:

Bring the MX-3 in, take the (kia) sportage out, remove the FE3 and clean it all about
Put it in the MX-3 and blah blah blah blah blah

that's what it's all about!

What transmission would you use for the FE3? Something from a Probe/mx6 4cyl? Would their shafts work too? I may look into doing an FE3 swap in my MX3 over the summer
