My friends and I stole 2 mcdonalds trays and put them under the rear tires like that. lasts about 30 seconds before they melt. We got the car doing some ridiculously fast donuts.

I don't want to sound harsh or anything, but how old are you and how long have you been driving for? Street racing is extremely dangerous for everyone else on the road/sidewalk and I think its pretty retarded that you would build up a car specifically for street racing.

Make sure there are nails in the board. you need some to keep the tires from sliding of the board from all the G forces your going to encounter.

ok so i wish everyone wouldn't be quite so harsh, if he is just kidding and trying to ryle everyone up he's is having an easy job of it, if this kid is serious then we'd have a better chance of talking a little sense into him if we weren't so negative.


as to kl-ze swap you can do it in a 4 banger but you have to change out a lot of stuff, almost everything in the engine bay, if you swap in a b6t, bp, or bpt it will be a lot easier and with some engine work you can have 150 - 300 hp without too much difficulty depending on what you are willing to work

second if you talk about street racing with an obvious lack of respect for life or the dangerousness of it you'll get flamed sadly it is unavoidable. i have street raced a few times out on the back roads in the cornfields of IL where it is "safe" but i still would rather meet someone at a track or autox race day and tear them apart there with plenty of video and records to prove it.

ok so what dude i am 17 i have driven for 4 years why yall have to be hating on a guy that don't know short stick abouth Mazda man chill just want to do some thing new just got tired of Hondas and...well i guess yall can help me out but yall have to be a h0e and not help a guy out...well i want some thing with power and not to change alot of thing in the engine bay...so what..is a bp or what ever that is???help really i got a sohc and i whant a dohc

honestly read the 4cyl faq, then read the 4 banger forum and then start on the forced induction if you are wanting to go that route. i read almost the entire site before i even posted the first time. everyone is giving you a hard time due to the CAPS LOCKS YELLING AND NOT MAKING SENSE INTRODUCTION FIRST POST WITH POOR SPELLING THUG TALK. you have to understand that almost every new member is doing the same thing as you just did and everyone is tired of saying search first then ask questions. everything has been answered over and over. do some research and the guys here on the site will give you a hand no problem but you have to do some work on your own. now this is going to depend on how much money you have to spend, your mechanical skill, if there are any members near by you that are willing to give you a hand etc. to give you a idea, i have spent 1200.00 on a motor, 500 on the tranny, 450 on axles, 3200 turbo kit, 600 other turbo parts, 800 pistons, 400 rods, 1400 vlave train, 600 rebuild kit and a whole lot more than that just in the last year and most of it is still sitting around while i am still learning what i am going to do. so you need to be more specific and figure out a game plan. other than that welcome to the club and dont take them to seriously, remember what i said and get to work.

one last thing dude, please try and talk normally, it really makes it hard to understand you when you speak/ type like you are above I had to read it three times to fully understand what you are writing.

since you have the sohc you have the easiest car to swap the bp or bpt into, personally i'd do the bp then turbo it, it has better air flow and produces more hp when turbo'd than the bpt has already

Dali, have you made a worklog yet? I'd love to see the project you're working on. Looks like you've got most of the parts to make a great ride. What's your progress on it?

lol, no worklog yet. as for how far ive got.......ive got a pile of parts sitting around for when i have time and more money. i've been collecting parts for about 2-3 year now, just spent 3000.00 this last 2 months and have about another 3000.00 to spend to get the car going and that wont be the end of it, good credit and credit cards. actually started to work on my inverted hood last night for 3 hours, first time ive touched the mx3 since last summer. hood was very poorly built.
