running one in my mx3 klze and its been working pretty good for the last couple of years, still slips to one side a little bit once in a while but over all its pretty good. i also upgraded to the race springs. i cant wait to get my 323 put back togerther.

Congrats to 323v6 for a great time ( I need to get some slicks by the looks of it and not use crap road tires )
What suspension setup are you running because your getting out of the hole a hell of a lot faster than me?

Yeh, 323s are lighter by a fair margin.

Re: went to the track yesterday(323v6)N/A
It's roughly 200lbs difference. I remember a rule of thumb saying 100lbs weight reduced was like adding 10hp. So a klze in a 323 would be like having 20 more hp or a 10% increase in power to weight vs a klze in an mx3.mx3autozam wrote:323 aint much lighter.
I still want an mx3 to put my but into cause they handle better, I'm not a drag racer and I have traction problems in 5th if it's wet out so more weight would be good.

My mx3 gutted with only the front interior left in it weighs 2320 on the scale at the track. A stock 323 hatch weighs 2200 before you gut it. A stock mx3 GS weighs 2541.
As for the person commenting on my 12.9 @ 115, I ran that on street tires, not slicks. It was only a 2.2 60ft. I can only imagine what I'd do with a 1.7 60ft. My goals at the track are on street tires at the moment. I have a set of slicks, but I never run them. I've got some more street tires goals to knock out first.
