Finally heres a couple of pics of the car whil it was on the ramps getting the gas tank changed (in my grandma's garage because theres tons of room and she doesn't drive). Oh and first thing after I got it off the ramps I took those hub-caps off.

Good luck with the car... its just like mine, or exactly, if you've a SOHC. Looking sweet.... and I like the rims, awesome choice. and I've the older generation of the Xplodes, 6x9. Plenty loud enough for me :)

Oh, I custom mounted mine. I think you have the sizes correct. Sorry for worrying you there :P
5 1/4's up front and either 5 1/4 or 6 1/2's in the back. You're good to go.

I've heard of guys cutting that plastic brace and screwing 6x9's into there, but felt it was redundant because there aren't enough holes to let the sound out :) You can make any size fit, you just might have to modify it a bit.. I know mine mounting points are shot. Stock, I believe, they screw to the cover. All the towers that they are supposed to screw into broke off on mine, or someone broke them... so I just had 6 1/2's screwed to the plastics. It worked, but I wasn't happy with it...

Well guys just for an update, tomorrow I should at least be putting in the front and rear speakers.
And possibly if I have time may install deck too. Also this week I should be getting a new battery
and tires for the rims.

Alright it's been a while since I gave an update, but the windshield replacement took longer than expected.
I got my car back today and immediately got to work.
Here a couple things I got done today;
-front speakers
-deck
-removed most of the dash cleaned it and reassembled
after deck and speaker installation was complete

So I'm about to first post up pics of the stuff I put on today
Second I'll post up pics of a little amateur photoshoot
