The max i got my K8 to was 190km/h, I was running out of road, but it didn't look like she was accelerating anymore. My ZE, the fastest speed I saw her at was 235km/h, but I wasn't trying a top speed, that was a nice cruising speed with a group of mazda's in the mountains.

well if you drop it out of an airplane it might get up to 140...LOL Or you can sring for a 75shot of NOS

if you are going to replace your K* anyway you might as well get a NOS kit and have some fun with it before you pull it out

well if you are going to scrap the K8 you might as well see how much NOS it can take before it chucks a rod out the side of the block. LOL

I have had my k8 up to 110 but could feel the dynamics of the vehicle changing at that point. i am not 17 anymore and not a test pilot. would like to replace a few items before i pushed it any faster.

i hit 200km in my mx3 wit k8..was cruising down hill at the time...i tried it again with stock rims/tires...was not cool..

Why does everyone seem to think your top speed has anything at all to do with how much work you put into the engine? Its just the gearing. If you give it enough time, a K8 will max out at the rev limiter (I know, I've done it :p). Unless you've modified the engine to allow you to rev higher, or modified the transmission with taller gears, everyones top speed on this site should be the same.

i've only got to about 135mph with my ze, it would have kept going for a bit but i chickened out.

I got up to 130 something. Not sure because I was watching the road, but on the way back down, the needle was at 131 when I glanced at it. I think Mooneggs, and Stereoking15 were going faster

hmm I wonder how fast we were going haha because you were really far behind
