That's usually caused by using the car's dimmer wire as the radio's ground. This is a common mistake that people make, because the wire shows ground until you turn on the parklights. Then it's positive, and shorts out through the deck.2fazed wrote:I had the same problem with a few different Mazda's. Like the dimmer wire, when putting aftermarket stereos in. The problem was using the stock ground wire. I had to make a new one. Maybe if you disconnected the stereo, and tried it, see if it makes a difference.
