A 1970 Olds 442 Convertible with the 455 engine. I had a couple of them when I was younger, but never had the convertible one though.
Just one time I'd like to take a 66-67 Shelby Cobra Roadster out for a quick spin.

My uncle (also my machinist) owns a 1966 Olds 442 Convertible. Red w/ black interior.. Not a 455.. it has the 400 in it. Still a beautiful cruiser with more than enough power to float the unwary

I envy him, they were great cars.
I bet he is proud of his 66. The 400 was a good strong engine. I had several of the Olds Cutlass' 69-72,most of them with the rocket 350 as they called it, they were also fast, lot of good cars back then. Some of them are worth a lot of money now.
When I went to VietNam I had a 69 442 put up waiting for my return.
My parents gave it to my youngest brother and he totaled it the 1st time he drove it.
When I got home I was very upset about it. Asked them why they gave it to him as I had paid for it. They just said they didn't figure I would come back from Nam alive, so they let him have it 30 days after I left. It was really a beautiful car too. Metallic Gold with white vinyl top, white interior.
It was only a year old then.
