LG Shine Plus. I love having an actual keyboard, and it's my first Android phone which I'm more than pleased with, just the phone needs better battery life and more power

LG Thrill, my first Android. Replaced an iPhone 3GS, and couldn't be happier. If only swype was native...

Currently using my iPhone again, as I lost the charger for my Thrill. Bummer. :/

Ha, lets see if the internet even stocks a photo of mine.

I have not yet succame (haha) to the smartphone ideology.

I've had it for about a year now, and a week ago I discovered a new feature! There's an option to have little rewind/play/ff lights light up with the beat of the music. Its terrible, and stops when the backlight goes off.

all new smart phones should be micro usb, so if someone else has a smartphone in your house you should be able to use their cable.
or if you have the cable but not the charger you can just plug it into a PC.

On topic for oldschool phones, this little badboy is my alltime favorite cellphone:

Beats the HELL out of ANY phone I've ever owned for durability. My iPhone is in an Otterbox Defender, and my Thrill in a Ballistic anti shock case. The bare metal of the L7 tops everything, I ran my still functioning backup Slvr over twice, only once on purpose. Still good as new, hard to beat a compact, functional phone.

@Evo_Spec,

It's not micro usb. It's proprietary, and I lost the cable itself unfortunately. I'll have 2 new ones in a few days, and probably find my original a day later. *facepalm*

lol, i didn't for a long time too.
i've only had my smartphone for 4-6 months, i switched from a Nokia 8800, which i loved even though the keys were tiny for texting, but it slides upwards and made an awesome click when it did

well that sucks, i thought everyone finally switched to a universal standard to save us all from proprietary garbage XD (well besides apple, of course)

*edit*so i just looked it up out of curiosity of what cable LG uses now and it is Micro USB, which is commonly mistaken for mini USB.

I cannot do small keys. My fingers are no good at it. Callouses are thick enough that I can't even tell if I'm hitting one or four buttons at once.

I like the iPhone though, how a little bubble pops up showing which letter you're on. That feature alone will sell it to me, whenever I need it.

i find that eventually you just type so fast that the little bubble doesn't matter

My bad, micro it is. I made that exact mistake, tbh.

I miss the simplicity of older phones, a lot.

just want to add i ment nothing by it.
i just like to make sure people know cause then that way they know they don't have to pay the premiums some companies ask for cause you can get micro USB cables on ebay for a few dollars.

to stay on topic, what was your guy's first cell phone?
mine was the LG chocolate, if i don't include the one i had in japan but i don't remember what model it was at all.
