A caravan is just a bunch of people riding together to the same place. It's kinda traditional among car meets for everyone to ride out at the same time. It makes for a cool entrance and some really cool pics.

Kinda like the ones found here when we all caravaned from SFL up to Orlando for a meet.

OK, so we were talking today and decided to make a little MySpace marketing ploy for flyrtle. Everyone add the following pic to their profile and make it the main pic. It'll be pretty funny because a lot of us are on each others top friends lists so it'll end up with the Flyrtle pic showing up a bunch of times on every's profile and spark the interest of other people that might not know about it.

Caravan info doesn't usually pop up until a week or two before the event. I was in Orlando this weekend and talked to a couple guys that are going.

Find me on AIM and I'll get you in touch with them. My AIM name is hppwdn

FLYRTLE TSHIRTS!!!

The shirts are finally up and available. Unlike last year, they WILL NOT be for sale at the meet. You can only get them ahead of time thru cafepress. Instead of one single shirt, this year there are different color options and a price for every budget from $9-$19.

From the ones I ordered to test the design I can say the black compliments the design the best.

The prices on cafepress are set to zero markup so there's no money being made, it's just the easiest way to let everyone pick out what they want. If anybody got a shirt last year you know that the quality from cafepress is real good, better than most local people you might go thru.

Everybody is welcome to come. The guys down south in the Miami/FTL area are IPMCSFL I think. They came out to the first Flyrtle, and a couple of them came to the second one too.

One of my friends in South Miami down by the Falls wants to come too. He doesn't have a car bring to the meet, but he wants to ride up with someone if he can. I can get you guys in touch, just PM me. There's a lso a couple probe guys down there coming. js626lx from Probetalk will be coming in his probe.

CARAVAN INFO

For the people coming from Tampa and Central Florida areas the caravan thread on probetalk is started. That's usually the main place for caravan info so feel free to post in that thread and meet up with everyone.

You know what, I may be in Florida next week, if not the week after. I got a stupid court date on the 21st for some unncessary tickets in Virginia that don't apply to me that I need to fight/get sorted out, but I'm suppose to be in Florida on the 17th for several weeks, if not, I guess I'll be coming in that weekend. We'll be working around the whole state, so I dont know whee I'll be in FL on that weekend.Although I won't have my Mx-3, if I'm nearby, I'm going to do what I can to come by, gotta check it out.

There aren't going to be any shirts for sale at the meet. They're only for sale online. I tried having them avail at the meet last year and it flopped. With this many avail color/size combos cafepress was the way to go.

i will be @ the publix on sunday morning as the probetalk forums have planned out.

i don't have boosty boosty (or gobs of power) like most, so i will be slowy slowy. my MX-3 has stamina (orlando to kentucky & back, high speeds that i won't disclose here just keeping with traffic) & hella cornering ability, but it would not be worth it to get my MX-3 up to some of the speeds i'm sure some people will explore. if someone doesn't mind running more conservatively when it comes to speed an acceleration, i'm more than excited to have a motoring buddy.
