Actually the last pic was a MTX prototype that they tried to use in an spl competition. It was banned for 2 reasons. It needed a computer to drive it or it would detonate, and the new rules state that the sub used must have been in distribution available to the public for at least 3 months. Being that they're was only 1 the following season it wasn't allowed. Oh and they ended up having some issue of how they had to burp it , it needed a computer to allign its linear movement? Namely it was near impossible to level match the amps to it but the rules allow no computers so they burped it with no form of control and it detonated.
