small update

box and amprack is built, and now is sitting in the car.....

the top amp slides back and the smaller amp (500 watts) is under there as well as a xover.

i powered up the 2 subs with my old amp from the old system (orion hcca225) and they sound sweet.... cant wait to get the 1500 watt amp and the other 2 subs hooked up..

well i got all 4 subs in today, currently running them off the orion hcca 225. i had a few people guess at how loud it was today, after spending the day at a db drag, they all seemed to estimate in the low 130's.... up to 135 or so...

thats on a 50 watt rms amp.... cant wait to hook up the big amp.

Careful, underpowering a speaker is the best way to blow it up. I would consider some good fans to keep the stuff under the big amp cool. Pretty nice looking boxes. What is the volume of them. Sure looks small for such powerful speakers.

each box is 1 cubic foot, wich means each speaker get .5 cubic feet.... exactly what it needs.
