Lookin great so far! Hopefully the June 20th weekend I can see it in person. A picture can only say a thousand words, but seeing it with your own eyes, I think that could conjur up a few more than a thousand, lol.

well so far this is probably the closest to me...but its still kinda far and would be quite a pricey trip with the gas prices and everything.

Hmmm...as of now its a great possibility that i'll be there for at least 1 day probably the 21st. If my MX is operational by then, I'd still need a buddy to tag along. Not having a license sucks...And in the slight chance I dont finishthe MX, I'll try to get my brother to take his Stang to the track to test/tune it, lol then I'll tag along with him.

AS for NW Indiana peeps, I think I'm the only one. There are a few 3's but I think all those people just have them because of the fuel efficiency thing, not being fans...

The car was finally moved to MI about 45 minutes to an hour north of where i live. I paid for 6 months which will be up end of april i believe so i'm quickly running out of time. This year has been really hard since my dads health has turned for the worse so since moving the car I have only made one trip up just to drop some items off. I just don't have the time to do anything with him being back and forth from home to hospital and his health failing.

So i'm working on compiling a list of what i need to do, i also need to make a list of what i need to buy still but here is what i have so far.

redoing the miata harness so that it can go into the mx-3engine bay
help install 1994 wiring behind the 1994 dash *i'm trying to make this work on a 1993 car*
help install fuel / brake / vacuum / coolant hosing in engine bay
Help install the shifter and shifter cables properly *i have a bf GTX shifter and cable set which supposedly should work*
help installing dash *this is the 94 push button dash, car was a 93 slider dash*
help installing the carputer system in the car
help install the external gas pump and properly secure the fuel cell
help install the alternator

with that done all i'l have left is
install the intake and exhaust manifolds
install the axels
install the radiator
install the driveshaft
Complete the front engine mount
and the car should be driveable.

The biggest problem i'm running into is the one mentioned before with the added problem of it being so freaking cold that even if my dad wasn't in the hospital it'll be too cold to try and wrench on the car for another few weeks unless I can get my hands on a good heater to bring with me.

I'm trying so hard not to be discouraged but honestly i think i bit off more than i can chew, i wish i had done the standard FWD BP conversion first, got it up and running then made the next stage the AWD and then added the turbo.. or turbo then awd either way i'm trying to hold on to hope but with everything else going on... just hard to keep my nose up. Thanks for the offer guys and seriously if i can work something out to get help i'll do it. my tax return looks significantly smaller this year than makes sense so i will likely only be able to offer between $300-$600 to anyone who can come help. I'll also throw in food and drinks (alcohol included) and a place to stay for the weekend while working on the car. If anyone seriously thinks they'd be interested let me know. I posted up in clubprotege also but not sure what if any updates will be coming for a while. I may talk to the place i'm storing it to see if i can work out a deal to get an extension and maybe i'll use my tax return for that rather than paying to get the car running. or I could try and save up more and take it to a shop to get as much done as possible, I guess we'll see. Serious suggestions are welcome.
