I was planning on doing that, paint jobs here are kinda pricey unless i do it myself...and finally get a body kit on it this summer, i cant stand that color, the car itself is in good shape, the engine could use a little work tho, plus the milage on it is pretty high too...its got over 200,000 miles on it...pretty high for an mx-3 but she still runs :D

Well for simplicity sake, I'd say to look for a new MX-3 with the 4cyl DOHC engine ('94 - '96 RS). Go with Manual Transmission if you can. If the engine is good in the new one; then great! If not, just swap in your old engine from the DOHC (without the transmission). Should be a straight swap without any problems. If you come to some of our events, we can probably give you some good one on one, in person advice. I've assisted an ex-member (Justin Ollerich) in converting his SOHC to a DOHC engine. Let's just say it wasn't pretty, but it worked out in the end.

Once I get my rebuilt KLZE installed again, I will have over 300000km and a new powerful engine with just over 200HP. :D
