Your head is warped, needs machined or new. Never put RTV between head and cylinder block.

As I said for the price of engine rebuild it's better to buy new engine or even whole mx-3. I'll just seal everything with silicone.

Check the under side of the disty - the o-ring usually leaks and drips onto the tranny case.

thanks, that would be #3 then to replace. I didn't know there was oil in the distibutor

No its not no 3 - the distributor o ring is behind all that right next to where it connects to the cam.
There should not be any oil in the disty.

Thanks everyone for help. O-ring was in such a bad shape and after replacement that part of the engine is now clean.
However this part near exhaust is still oily. Anyone knows what could it be?

Your composite head gasket has sprung a leak. It has o-rings in the gasket that are prone to leaking.

I haven't replaced the valve cover gasket because it looks clean.
What do you mean by composite head gasket? Cylinder head gasket?

Yes it will look clean because the valve cover is pressurized and oil if leaking usually kinda sprays out towards the bottom. I had similar problem in my DOHC - i replaced the gasket (while the original looked great - but i learned later that it had expanded and lost the ability to seal when the engine was hot). It leaked again in 2 or 3 days. I replaced it again and this time i used a lot of RTV as indicated by the manual - it didnt leak after that. You have to replace the PCV valve too if you have one.

LOL. Shade tree. The only thing that bothers me is when they say "thats what I heard from someone" then they try to back it up as fact.
